Today, the Canberra Liberals have announced that they have preselected 25 candidates for the 2024 ACT Legislative Assembly Elections that will be held on 19 October 2024.

“I want to thank the members of the Yerribi Branch of the Canberra Liberals for pre-selecting me to the stand for 3rd term in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
“I have had a longstanding interest in politics, and ascribe to the values established at the time of the Liberal Party’s foundation more than 80 years ago. I have been involved in the Party for over fifteen years, and was president of this branch back when it was an interest branch.
“There are two reasons why I wish to run again.
“First and foremost, I want to continue to represent the people of Yerrabi and seek the best for our community. The best for Yerrabi in supporting small businesses, and for the maintenance of lands, roads and footpaths. The best for you in transportation and town planning.
“All the areas that you have identified to me as having been so significantly neglected in the surveys which I have run and in my discussions with so many of you. I want to see Yerrabi looked after and to see it develop into a great place to live for families.
“And secondly, I want fight for the Canberra Liberals to win government. I passionately belief that we can and should. It is time. Time to see this Labor/Greens government gone. Time to see an end to the failures of this government in police and emergency services, disability services, health, business, education, sports and recreation, indigenous affairs and transport, in fact in every area.
“It is time for proper government to start, and I believe that the Canberra Liberals can bring responsible government.”
