As YOUR local Member, and the Shadow Minister for Police and Emergency Services, I want to ensure that Yerrabi is a safe place to live and raise a family.
Residents of Yerrabi deserve to live in a community free from crime, and enjoy everything our community has to offer.
It is important I hear your views and concerns, so I can best represent you in our ACT Legislative Assembly.
The safety of Yerrabi and the ACT have been neglected for too long. The things that matter, security, pride in our community, supporting business and employment continue to be on the top of my agenda and issues I push in the Assembly on your behalf.
These have included the following matters:
- Calling for the completion of the upgrade of the Gungahlin JESC (9 Feb 2023)
- Working to get answers to the temporary closure of the Gungahlin JESC due to hazardous materials (19 March 2024)
- Tabling a Motion for an inquiry into ACT Policing resourcing and funding (19 May 2024)
- Questions and speaking to a Motion about the lowest number of Police per population in Australia (30 Mar 2023, 7 Feb 2024)
- Speaking against the passing of soft-on-drugs laws leading to increases in drug use (18 Mar 2024)
- Supporting a Motion for improved facilities, including lighting around Yerrabi Pond (23 April 2021)
